I ripped all the aircon stuff out the other weekend as it wasn't working and I was wanting to lose weight LOL

Since doing this the outside temp display on the dash pod is showing -86 or something.

Do I need to reconnect something? Presume I've chucked out the ambient temp sensor with all the junk but I didn't notice it.

The only thing I unplugged that I can think of is the small bottle type thing (dryer?) under the bumper.

The ambient temp sensor is behind the bumper IIRC Chris. The reading you are getting means that it's disconnected..
