As advertised are the sensor fittings in the right place?

Are the a direct fit or do they need altering?

Thats the guy I bought mine from, with the decats, and had the O2 sensor mount moved myself.

I know for a fact jimjitsu has some fitted and they sound yum yum :D

Well without spoiling too much of a secret i took jim's for a test drive this week and i've never heard a zed sound like a tvr sagaris before. My god that exhaust system sounded good :D

 

Headers/tubular manifolds do make a big old difference in the sound.

I was more after the bhp increase to the sound, was there a noticable difference in power or just sound?

Lots of posts on this subject. Headers are supposed to be one of the best N/A mods for horsepower increase. I'd talk to Smithy first to see if he has any of the ones he had built by Leon left over.

look at it close, think it might be the same side but mirror photo iff that makes sense

ALL the Ebay headers are for LHD cars.

Never mind what the seller says.

Hes only a bloke in an office who has NEVER seen a 300ZX in his life!

The o2 sensor will not fit on a RHD car cos the column is in the way.

It needs to be re located as said by Shunter at al before.

Hmm, I'd be interested in headers too, if they make so much of a difference to performance and aren't a major hassle to fit. Those Ebay ones are *alot* cheaper than I was expecting these things to be too!

I've got a SWB NA - does the SWB take the same as the LWB?

Rear pipes are different between the two!

Heard a few stories about the pipes separating from the mount to the head, because the welds are not, 'sufficient'

Heh, I figured cheap would mean *cheap* in this case :D But originally I thought headers + fitting would be >£1k, and that seems to be WAY off.

Sorry to be dense, but when you say the rear pipes are different, you just mean the rear pipes of the exhaust, right? Rather than the fitting from the header to the front of the exhaust? I've already "dealt" with the rest of the exhaust, which is why I thought to worry about SWB differences :P

Also foun out the Ebay ones have different length pipes which would alter performance but I have something else planned now ;)
