Just wondered what the figure is as different sites say different things.

 

Also wondered how much difference to that time my mods would make, if any difference

 

straight through exhaust, chipped ecu, induction, 1bar boost...

0-60 = 5.6 secs i think

The most common times from the numerous road tests over the years is either 5.5 or 5.6 seconds

 

IMHO a zed with basic mods ie,

 

Boost Controller running 1 bar

Re-mapped

Upgraded Intercoolers

Induction

Divorced Downpipes

De-catt

Performance Exhaust

 

.......should be capable of sub 5 seconds, given the right conditions and of course, the right driver.

Is there any diffrence between auto and manual and swb and lwb times .

auto is faster to 100 but manual faster to 60. SWB is slightly quicker than LWB due to less weight.

The old drag starts 0-60 are a damn site harder than they look!

5.5 and 5.6 have been published for ages tho thats for a brand new one. over the years the various parts will deteriorate until you get low 6's but basic mods like intake, zorst, chip and boost increase should bring you back into the low 5's.

Dont know how accurate datascan is but im guessing it is pretty accurate. Anyway my car is standard apart from an hks air filter, i got 5.65 secs to 60. Mine is a swb auto.

Well im in a uk auto with just a mongoose cat back and i really struggled getting it into the 7 second bracket :confused:

i have a uk auto with a blueflame zorst and apexi filter and regularly get low 6/high 5 second 0-60s

Just bought a blitz filter so will give it a good go after that. Launching in the auto is probably a technique i need to learn

No, but i've never been that convinced with the acceleration of it. Sounds worth a look although the gauge reads fine and theres a fair amount of power.

you must be in safety boost/boost leak surely!

i did a quarter mile and 0-60 run at bruntingthorpe last year, got 5.1 to 60, but that was on a 13.5 second quarter. only had the car for a month at the time. Running decats, full hks exhaust, hks induction, 1 bar and chip. have ran a 13.1 at pod since with the same setup so 0-60 i would say high 4's.
