Well boys if and when Audrey goes I woud like to get a good motor for no money and not be stuck with it till last minute.

I thought of an Omega cos they are cheap, a BMW or something like that but what do you think I could get for less than 500 notes and not be stuck with when the time comes to foxtrot oscar.

Granadas or scorpios are cheaper at the mo buddy, you'll get a lower mileage granny in better condition for the money

Not that i'm biast or anything  pmsl

Bmw's go on for ever. My BMW has 220,000 miles on the clock and engine is strong as ever. You'll have problems getting one for £500 though. I actually just sold mine on ebay for that as no-one else bid, but the guy hasn't come to pick it up so still got it. I bought a new shock but had a nightmare fitting it so decided to get something newer. No rust at all, E34 525i touter, m reg, no aircon. I don't think any of those cars would give you much back though as at £500 they are usually high milage or just old and rusty.

Hello.

It's easy to pick up a late Rover 800 Vitesse for that sort of cash.

They are full of toys and go relatively well too whist being excellent on fuel.

I know they are sometimes unreliable (headgaskets and gearboxes) but I run one as my daily driver and have always done so. I use and abuse them for 5-6 months and then sell on, usually at a profit.

Hope it helps mate.
