got well an truely owned last night by a monaro....both of us were on a rolling start from @ 30mph...big straight opened up and he overtook me in some style....it must have burnt at least 1 gallon of unleaded to make the point...but all the same fair cop to the guy it sure shifted...only ever seen them on dealers forecourts or filling up before but sounded very nice flat out

i agree as with any large 4 door saloon, you cant turn a pigs ear into a silk purse no matter what you shove under the hood

 

Don't be fooled by the pigs ear, they are very agile for a 4 door barge and I would wager that it would put your average Zed in the shade.

 

Don't put them in the samer class as the old Carltons or even the Omega (although I did in an earlier post) they stem from HSV (Holden Special Vehicles) a very capable and succesful branch of the company and would give any factory tunned German car a good run.
