Hi, trying to find a decent garage who can do some work for us on the Z, anyone had any experience of any good ones in Lincolnshire??

He did my poly bush kit (barsteward of a job) and my cambelt for el cheepo. Top Man :bow: :bow:

Give Ceejay a call as he has set up his own garage business now due to bad service by so called experts (Nothing to do with your Guy) Called to see his new premises last week and I was very impressed with his mechanics knowledge of Zeds and the profesional service Chris is offering. :bow: :bow: :bow:

I had been waiting for one of the 'experts' garages to come back to me after a week of waiting for a reply/confirmation date, but no joy :headvswal

where about is this garage then ? i visit alford regular as my sister lives there. was only up there a couple of weeks ago.

I do almost all my own mechanical work, although she has got to go in for some pretty major (well major for me anyway) work to be done sometime soon. I've spoken to Mark and Martin (Zen Garage, Alford) before regarding this work, and will probably use them for it, as soon as I can afford all of it in one go!

 

As for Crystals ;), yes I have used them. I had my auto-box reconditioned (not by them), picked it up on the Saturday,then took it to JAE on the Sunday, went to reverse into the parking area, and nothing, as the linkage had fallen off!! Anyway, the garage said I was to take it into my local Nissan dealer and they'd reimburse me, which they did, and I was happy with their work at crystals. The sales guy also let me drive a couple of 350's even though he knew I wasn't going to buy one (One of which was the Yellow Gran Tourismo! :D )

 

Was it your Zed that I placed a window card on in ASDA's car park?? :D

ur Z looks tops, awsome colour, and love the plate on it.

 

wasn't my Z in Asda, well not for at least 2 years, since mine's been keeping cosy in the garage for the last 2 years, and now finally out and about.

 

i try and do some stuff myself, but every so often its cool to get an expert view on stuff, especially since mine's been sleeping for the last 2 years, it seems to run great at the mo, other than a slightly rough idle, and a 'gasket-type-blowing-noise' from o/s front area, which i think probably relates to the idle prob.

 

i'll be keeping my eyes out for you now :hyper:
