Nissan recommends a semi-synthetic 10w/40. If your car is standard then you wont go far wrong with that.

I think nissan recomends 10w30 not 10w40, but they tend to recomend that for everything from a micra to a 350z.

 

If i were you id put AT LEAST a 5w40 fully syn in it.

 

Alot of people use castrol RS 10w60, as the higher second number represents the oils adility to stay thicker at high temperature, the first number represents the viscosity when cold.

 

I use a fully syn 5w50 and found it to be fine.

 

Everyone has differing opinions on oil, so consider the can of worms well and truely open!!
