As you know, we have switched our annual summer event this year from JAE to Billing.

Part of the reason was to support the Z Club in celebrating their 30th anniverssary, with a view to making the switch permanent if it's a success.

 

Up to now, we only have 33 names down on the list, which is located in the National Events forum.

Can I please ask, if any member plans to attend this event, could they please add their names to the list, with the days in which they will be present.

 

Two reasons for this:

Firstly, We need to organise food etc. and need some rough numbers. 33 is way down on previous years, so if we just cater for them and 150 turn up, we'll be right in the creek....and hungry :D

Secondly, we need to agree a day and time for the AGM, so it's important we know what days members will be present. We'll pick a time to maximise attendance at the meeting.

Hi steve interested in attending this event, not sure if it will be just for the day or couple of days. Can you give me some details as unable to find any (proberbly not looking properly knowing me) Where it is, entrance prices etc and what goes on there.

We will be at Puddleduck and Teal Meadows. Camping is £13 per night (up to 6 people with one car), extra cars are £10 per day. (Pets are welcome).

There is a Premier Travel Inn just outside the entrance £50 per night (0870 990 6510)

yeah thats it Eileen thanks. Was a bit confused to entrance fee, but i can see that means £50 a night for the hotel. Otherwise its £10 entrance for the day

I see that Danny will be there in his DTA capacity, will there be other traders present, will there be other food facilities, or is the club solely providing food/drink etc?

 

I ask because I don't see this mentioned anywhere else.

 

Also are we just talking about the ZClub and 300zx.co.uk parking there cars in a field and talking or is there something else planned there?

Don't forget the 350z club as well. There are other traders present Dave.

 

Here's a bit more from the ZClub site.....

 

For your additional entertainment there will be Trade Stands, The Z Club Shop, Car Show, Games, Dog Walking (you can borrow Merlin-Z) Autojumble and the Clubs AGM will also be squeezed in.

 

 

Don't forget that all the facilities of Billing Aquadrome are available to you, a whole shopping centre, funfair, camping exhibition, jet ski-ing, fishing, adventure golf etc. you can even park your boat there! http://www.billingaquadrome.com

Same applies to me.

I will have a trade stand as "Slick Pete- shiny Stuff"

Dual purpose stand as I will have my Z Club hat on also as

"PMac... Zed Parts for 240Z/260Zs"

 

Traders , cars for sale etc was always an integral part of the Z Club weekend at Billing and has been re instated this year. I dont wish to speak out of turn but there will be other well known traders there too. :bow: Not just Dan and me!!!

FYI....

Premier Travel Inn is fully booked.

I got in to Holiday Express just off the M1 at the A45 exit for Billing.Twins/doubles etc at £54.95 including breakfast per room. Just booked this week. Eldest daughter and myself will be there Sat nite as I dont do camping
