I was due to do Arizona last year, but ended up staying in Southern California.

 

Always wanted to go. I'm back in SoCal in August/September and wanting to head inland, probably from San Diego driving through the California desert (Sonoran Desert) along the Colorado river into Yuma, the hottest city in the US. Either that, or fly South West Airlines to Phoenix or something. $99 return from San Diego or L.A. so not bad.

 

Can't decide what to do. I want a bit more of a road trip than simply driving through Orange County from LA, to San Diego and then back up to Santa Barbara. Desert wilderness has always fascinated me.

 

If I had the time, I'd head up to Superior in Arizona, where 'U-turn' was filmed. Have a strange desire to visit that place! LOL

 

Just wondering if anyone's spent much time in AZ.

Yes but it would be worth it! Unless you could hire a highly modded one Lol

LOL....or do what I do, and meet up with them over there for a meet! Have another meet planned for the LAZ32 guys. This time meeting in Laguna Beach I think. So, shall be going to that for sure! :)
