Hi all,might be a silly question,but just wondering what the pipes are going to the exhaust system on a 90 jap spec N/A? I thinks its the EGR system? Two thin pipes,one each side of car,going into the centre sections! Thanks in advance. :D

Ok,cheers for reply.The next questions are,What does AIV stand for? Can i block them or whatever if i got decats,centre sections or a stainless full system? Has anyone had the same problem,which is where the brackets for the pipes are welded to the exhaust,ive got blows near the weld! Also,anyone got aftermarket centre sections at least that i could buy? Thanks again. :confused:

Yep you sure can block them. That problem is quite common to be honest. Have a look on ebay for a company called 2fast2cool they do decats with new turbo downpipes for a very good price ;)

I had my zed on the ramps today as i want to get new downpipes and de cats. When i saw those pipes i asked the same question he said its just for the gasses he didnt really explain i also asked if my turbos would be ok after decat he said you cant tell till youve removed them is that true

Mine isnt the turbo version,does that company still do stuff for the N/A? Trouble is i dont particularly want to buy new as i might be selling it,but if i have to,i will as i dont scrimp on my cars.

In answer to the other persons question,the turbos will be ok after decats etc,but boost pressure might go up abit.A few settings might need adjusting.(Hope im right anyway) :confused:

if the turbo seals do go is i a case of getting them reconed or new turbos also is there noway you tell if the turbo seals will be up for decats my 91 2+2 import is totally original except for cat back powerfloe ex and k&n ind. i checked out your site the other day its a cool site and you are a hottie :smw:
