Hi, Car running nicely, then just cut out whilst doing about 30mph. On turn of key, car would start, but could not get the rev's up, then would cut out again. Luckely I was only yards from the house so pushed it home. this morning tried to start her, engine kicking over but just wont start. Does this sound like a PTU problem ?

Have'nt taken it off yet, tried jiggling the wires etc, making sure they were connected. I am about to purchase one from Andyz but wanted the concensus first that this was most likely cause.

would be a v good place to start bud :)

Take a coil pack out and put a sparkplug in it and rest it on the plenum with it plugged in and turn the engine over ! If it sparks check the rest if it doesn't it will more than likely be the PTU

Well how did it go?

Either PTU or corroded water temp sensor connection

No spark. have ordered a PTU from AndyZ, hopefully arrive Sat.
