I have heard about a technique using extremes of heat before but have never seen it done till now (Not propperly at least)

ive heard of heating the paint, then pushing the bump out to stop the paint cracking

yes this does work ...but ..not on all dent's ..only on dent's that don't have paint cracking....!!!

But the real question is can they fix my car without writing it off?

Are they using plumber's freeze spray in that clip?

 

I think it'd only work on big dents that pop out easily. Could be wrong though.

metal stretches when its dented i bet when it gets hot again it pops back in

thats pretty cool. wonder how large the dent can be before it stops working.

Now I'm thinking I should open my own bodyshop :D

Where's ya front boot then :tongue:

 

It works a treat this but mainly on dents in the middle of the panel. It will reduce the dent on a panel edge but not remove it completely.
