I got one on mine. It's great, scares the hell out of kids looking inside. Just make sure you tell your insurance ppl. Some really have a problem with it.

Yep and no other problems, the alarm must be armed in order for engine to start though.

smithy

mines has worked spot on since it was fitted......... no adverse effects.

why? is something wrong with yours?

Im sure when remote starts came out years ago i think clifford the alarm people where the first .And clifford only recomeded fitting remote starts to auto box cars for saftey reasons .I dont know if this is still the case now do you need to fit sensors in the gearbox to tell it the cars in netural.

Cliffords can be fitted to Auto or Manual cars, it`s the way they get programmed by the fitters that is the difference.

Manual zeds actually have a neutral switch too. My Clifford very occasionally arms/disarms itself, which puts me off using the remote-start output. I'm sure it's due to harmonics from mobile phone networks. The likelihood of getting the right 16-bit code is quite high from a mobile network, especially over time. I remember the missus texting someone in my old Z and the cheapo 8-bit system would arm itself on many occasions and sound whilst I was driving along lol!

got a remote start on my auto, had it 3yrs now and had not one problem with it,and i scare the crap out of nosey people :D

Going to get one fitted to mine when I have some cash.

Need to change my alarm anyway really so will get one with it built in.

Must be nice to be able to warm the car up on a winters morning before you go out :)
