The spiraling air from the turbos becomes more turbulent as it enters a single exit.By splitting the exhaust gases through the divorced wastegate this has the effect of smoothing the turbulence and the turbos benifit from being able to spool up faster.So big performance advantage......(hey ;experts out there...did I get it right for a newby?)

Pretty much, however performance wise will be very small on stock or Hybrid T25's, it's only when you jump up the turbo size scale you really benefit :)
