Can any1 help with this one, idle is real good in any movement gear (about 1000RPM) and foot on brake obviously, but if i put into P or N it hits 2000RPM and idles there!

Is this normal?? Also sometimes when i start it in P its ok and occasionally when putting into N or P it idles correctly at about 1000RPM.

Thanks in advance guys lol

no thats way too high, should be 750rpm and it will drop below that in gear. Check for dirty throttle bodies, dirty or failed idle air valve, or a bad vacuum leak.

i had the same issue, i had a vacuum leak, and cleaned the TBs. I also changed the PCVs, not sure if that made a difference tho, but i dont have this issue any more.
