have a look down the hole, it could be the rocker cover gasket weaping. you will see a small pool down there is thats the case.

Yep, I've just clean out a little pool and now I'm leaving it while I eat my lunch will go have another look in a bit.

it will probably only pool when the engine is running. not a serious problem but definately one of the "while you have the plenum off" jobs :)

Well I clean up the spark plug's and there's no cracks in them put it all back together again and it's still only firing on 5 cylinders.

 

Any one with consult near me.

 

I'm thinking of doing a compression test as well.

 

 

This is starting to get to me as we've both cars now in bits on the driveway.

swap all your coil packs round i.e 1,3,5 swap to the other side 2,4,6 if the miss fire is then on the other side of the engine its your coilpack!!

Thanks mate, you can tell I wasn't feeling too great yesterday I didn't even think about that. Trying to diagnose stuff when ill is not the best thing in the world.

 

Will get on to it today if my head stay's firmly attached to me shoulders :D
