At LEAST that for labour. Depends how far you go, whether you take the spoiler off, whether you take the weatherseal off the window.

You'll also have to do the otherside as well, so IMHO, I'd have the window removed.

I'd budget about £500 including paint and materials.

going to get some quotes over the next few days.

in all honestly i dont want it to cost more than a couple of hundred.

otherwise i could be joining the 2-tone brigade!

You'll need half a litre of paint, that's going to cost about £40. If yours is metallic, add another £30 - £40 for lacquer, if it's pearl, add another £40 for the pearl coat. So, you could have close to £100 just for paint. Then you have filler, papers, thinners, hardners, polishes etc. Plus time to strip down and rebuild, mask, paint, bake, finish off etc etc.

Z tailgates have quite a bit of trim on them and are rather large. You'll need at least a days labour. Circa £250 + dependant upon where you take it.

contact a mobile guy they are all the rage at the mo i have a few mates who do it. and they do jobs for within 12 month old jags at show rooms ect so there not sh*te, if you can find a guy who does it and ask him to do it out of work he will have use of paint/ primer ect bung him 200 quid and you should be right. they usually do 1 job per weekend for beer money.
