Insurance query - TT classification

Renewal price by Bell was a shocker so have been investigating other options.

I have an import TT and the prob is that on a lot of the insurance sites it just says 300zx import turbo. I rang elephant up who said it was just for a single turbo but I'm just trying to clarify that there is only a twin turbo version isn't there?

Its irritating trying to deal with them explaining it can only be a twin turbo so that must be the option for my car but he just said they can only insure a single....which I thought didn't exist

Yep, no Single turbo for the Z32. As long as its a year later than 89 then its the correct model.

it would be the Fairlady you would have to select mate not 300ZX if its an import.

unless it gives you the option to select that its an import separately.

Also just saying turbo is fine

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

Yes the pre '89 Z31 300ZX is a single turbo so it might be that they have listed.

Like Bird said, see if there's a Fairlady listed as that's what it was known as outside the UK.

I'm gonna have to call them I guess. The only option was import turbo. Not worth risking without clarification really.

Cheers for all the help guys, hadn't thought about the z31.
