Took my 85 year old Great Aunt out in the Z yesterday! LOL

Yesterday my cousin got married and I ended up taking the Z. Now my Great Auntie Margaret who we all call super-gran still lives on her own, goes hiking up on the mendips every day etc. She's just been hand-gliding for her 85th and wants to go bungee jumping as well.

Anyway, she's a right hoot and has always wanted to go out in the Z. So after the wedding ceremony, it was decided that she hop in for the drive up over the mendips to Bath and on to the reception.

Knowing what she was like I thought it would be funny to take the car up to full boost in 1st 2nd and 3rd and she absolutely loved it! Seeing an 85 year old being taken off on a reasonably hard launch asking me to 'do it again' and chucking away was pure comedy! Wished I'd had the digi cam with me! LOL

My gran's like that lol Taken her to the doctors a couple of times in the zed, liked the fact it was fast and she could watch countdown on the in dash tv screen :rofl:lol

Lol, went to collect Karen's 70+ year old Mum from from hospital once and she was upset when I arrived in the Xantia rather than the Z.

yeah, my gran loves my car too...........said it's because she's too old to worry about dying in a fireball :slap:
