I'm organising a day out at Triton Motorsport ( Aviation Park West, Bournemouth International Airport, Christchurch, Dorset,) with Banzai Club to give people a chance to get their cars on the rolling road..... and thought I would post it up here too... incase any of you want to join us - the more the merrier :hyper:

Good chance to see what power your cars are pushing! I've not contacted Triton yet, but according to their website this is included:

A complete health check report, ECU check and Rolling Road Power run with printouts for just £30 + VAT.

However, if we get enough people interested - we may be able to get some sort of club/group discount.... need to contact them once I know numbers and see what they say.

As far as dates are concerned - we have a few shows in June & July.. so I'm thinking the first Saturday of August - give us a bit of time to save a few pennies, do a few tweaks and get some more members interested!

I was thinking to add a little extra excitment....... (no pole dances sorry)

when we fill out our forms at the begining, the car drivers taking part in the Rolling Road pop their names on a little piece of paper and into a hat.

We all then chuck in £1 - which should bring the total to about £17 / £18.

Everyone pulls a name from the hat - if you pull your name, you put it back and pull again.

If the name that you pulled gets the highest figure on the Rolling Road - you take the money! :D

what do you say??

Rownhams Services I will be at Rownhams Services on the M27 at about 10 to 8 leaving at about 10 past 8 if anybody wants to meet me and drive down.

Look out for a Pearl White Zed…. :D

See you all tomorrow x

Hi Athene

8.30 - 8.45 onwards, I see from your website there are 17 at the moment. Fingers crossed for the weather!

Cheers

Early Start (unfortunatly)

I MAY have a grey wing, depends if I get the car back from the gaeage today. nowt like leaving it to the last minute eh?

Ok, obviously we can't all get on the rollers at once and whilst I'm interested in other people's results, I'm afraid I don't have the time to hang around all day. Can we stagger it between am and pm or arrange slots?

Ta,

kick up the rear........ this is cars we are talking about - its important!!!!

My money is on the Griff for the top power.

Nah, I think one of the hi-rev lifters is stuck on #8. Rolling road is giving me the picture before the big engine project (either a rebuild + Supercharger or transplant from a 7-litre Corvette Z06 engine).

Reckon it'll make less than 300 horses tomorrow. Torque curve is usually interesting though, may need some volunteers to sit in the boot to stop the wheels spinning on the rollers.

im going to come along tomorrow . don't think i can get the money to go on the rollers tho. so think of me as the z encouragement

I will be there as well, about mid-morning, but as a spectator only!

I wont be going on the rollers (neither will my Zed  )

Cheers all... Good to meet up with everyone for this, cracking day was had, even got some sweet photo's on the way out!!

Thanks very much Athene for organising it!!

Was a good day. Was good to meet you all and some top results on the rollers too !!
