Yours looks a nice & clean example mate, i don't doubt it's

worth the money, but selling a z for around the £5k mark these

days is a hard thing to do. There are so many 'cheap' ones about

for £2500 or so, that getting £5k for one is almost an impossibility!

It all depends how desperate you are to sell it, eventually someone

will come along and buy it for the price you want, just depends if you

can wait that long!

These cars were £30k+ to buy new, so they should be worth a lot more

than they are selling for now, but in reality, they are a specialist car

that drinks fuel with huge running costs. It takes someone who really

wants one to buy one, then they are gonna buy the £2500 'bargains'

on ebay, then realise they've bought a 'shed' then punt it out for the

cost of a half decent mountainbike, hence lowering the value & reputation

of these cars even more!

Rant over!

Good luck with the sale btw! ;)

looks really good in the pics mate and i'm sure it looks even better in the flesh. IMO you're asking for the right kinda price. gotta just hold out until you get what you want for it.

Id say its worth the money.

but unfortunatly we know the cost of a decent car as we have them, thoes that dont wont know what a lemmon they have till it starts playing up.

You would be more likely to sell it on here than through ebay, take it to a few meets with some for sale signs in it and im sure youll get some interest.

Generally people only buy cars off ebay if they are looking for a cheap so called bargain.

It has to be worth that money, but has been said, finding the right man is triicky sometimes.

My only comment would be to explain why it was repainted, someone might think it was because it was rusty and will not risk the rust comming back.

Good Luck. Oh, and move further south, lol.

Ebay is'nt always the best place to sell...ebays tends to be for people looking for cheap n cheefull bargains.

Put her up on Autotrader and Pistonheads, and get plenty of details & pics up on our for sale section.

mabye im blind to the facts

Perhaps not blind but there are some facts to be considered.

First one is the fact that very few cars are sold privately in the £5K price bracket. this is normally the territory of Dealer sales .

Im not talking just zeds, I mean all car sales.

Secondly.asking any private buyer to decide on a £5k sale in less than 7 days is a tall order.

thirdly , your advert is rather dictatorial in style and not very user friendly. In fact some things verge on the point of arrogance. Eg "first person to see WILL buy"??????? Says who???

"No rust obviously". ????

Then there are some arrogant opinions.eg "I think it looks better than standard"

then there is the glaring omission of any explanation as to why you are selling it the minute after you have bought it. That is really offputting and will make any potential buyer think there is something dodgy going on. (even if there isnt).

And then there is the "offer" of some self employed mechanic "writing out " bills to prove work was done months after it may or may not have been done. Well if that doesnt sound dodgy then you have a very naive view of life in the motor trade.

Now we come to ICE. Adding £1500 or whatever figure of ICE to a car adds zero to its value. Same applies to the body kit. 50% or more of the car buying public would want to remove it. Ask any Late model Used car salesman about the effect of body kits on retail prices. Same applies to your custom interior. Stock back leather interior will widen the appeal of the car.

Im sorry to post all this negative stuff but its not personal against you its just the facts of the motor trade basically.

My personal opinion on price doesnt matter as Im not looking to buy a car ATM

im 19 thats why im selling it, it costs to much to run, im paying 250quid a month on insurance....+ petrol lol which i did explain. I bought it as an impulse buy without thinking of the running costs.

i dont agree with you that adding ice doesnt increase value, i had a w reg focus 4months ago kitted out with a wide arch bodykit, i got 4700 for it, market value was only 3k for a normal focus, the person who wants a good sound system will be happy to pay a little extra for it, i know i would.

everything i wrote in the description is true

no rust obviously... lots of zeds rust up. just sayin it hasnt got rust after the respray.

i bought of it off a mechanic, if i was to buy a car, i would like to know where it came from etc, everything i said i can back up.

self employed mechanic? he owns his own garage with plenty of workers there, (kingspark motors)

in my eyes i think it does look better than a standard TT, i never said it is, its just my opinion...

u certainly woke up on the wrong side of bed this morning
