Spot on article mate, an excellent advert for the paint people who did your car.

If ever I need any spray work then Leonardo da Vinci would be the man to see.

Very Nice artical - Especially the bird with the Ice Cream bit .... i mean the bit about the Paint work - sorry my mind wandered to a better place there of a minute.

Max power is a top mag - I bought myself a Day glow Air freshner, Neon Winscreen washer jets and bag of speed holes from the classified section biggrin.gif

God is coming ...and he dont have stock turbos . . .

Ah yes, bring back the Speedholes debate. Does it or does it not increase mpg ? And what are the chances of hailstones jamming in your speedholes and screwing up the fuelling ?

Come on Nico - it's a long time since we had a good tech debate ...

Now this is very interesting Hairy boy.

The Speedhole kits were never desinged to Angulate Hail stone refractions, and therefore your entire speedhole design is based on an apostropic theory. (ie the bigger the speedhole the better the fuel economy)(but adversly the bigger the speedhole the less ergonomic the Drag Coefficent becomes)

Warren,

I know we've been good friends for some time but you're talking bollocks.

Do you have speedholes ? NO. Do you have any rolling road evidence of speedholes ? NO. So stop talking crap - some people could benefit from this and you're just putting them down because you don't have them. It's typical of South Africans. If it doesn't have a gun and mug you then you don't like it.

IMHO speedholes have a place in an all round tuned sportscar. So stop slagging them off until you've tried them.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I really don't understand this mass debate over speedholes. It's really quite simple.

Point 1 - they work. If they are good enough for Fireblades....

Point 2 - under no circumstances should you use aftermarket speedholes. It takes Nissan, Honda et al zillions of CPU cycles (of alright, trillions of MIPS if you must) on massively parallel and expensive Cray-a-likes to work out not only how many holes but also in which pattern and ALSO (giving away too much here but WTH) the radius in the third dimension - eg from panel surface. Should it be drilled dtraight? Chamfered? Finished to a point?

I don't know but it is clear that Rossi's bodywork chap knows how and that Mr Coulthard's chap needs to do more homework.
