Please Help RE: Alternator

 

Hey guys,

 

Sorry to Hijack the General Forum, But hell since im God here Muahahahahahahhahaha ( well Co-God anyway)

 

Dont suppose anyone here has a spare alternator lieing around they can send me in a hurry and want a reasonable price for - all the spare parts guys are havin a fuckin laff with their prices as i could buy a competition one for less - I need one in a major hurry to ! frown.gif

 

So if you all have a rummage thru the garden sheds i would appreciate it !

    Fuck it - I ordered one from a Breakers - May as well have bent over and taken one up in the starfish for that price but hell if it works im happy.

    Have you tried cleaning the brushes ? I used to 'recondition' alternators for a guy. I got £20 a shot for getting them working again - replaced the condensor and cleaned the brushes, then sprayed them silver cos it was quicker than cleaning them !
