Can any on help,

 

my clutch seams to slid in 3rd, 4th and 5th gear at high rev's but not in the low gears and works fine on hills, any ideas any one??

Sounds like it is on its way out to me.

Yep, thats normal behavior for a worn clutch to slip in higher gears rather than lower.

 

Where is the biting point ?

could it be contaminated????, apparantley mine is!

Mine did the same and when i changed it it was down to the rivets so had to buy a new lightend flywheel and uprated ACT clutch was spot on from then on

mines doing the same :( im running aprox 360 bhp & 325 ilbs of torque. i know its not loads of power but what do you think is the best clutch to go for a standered one still cope.also wots the best engine oil for the z at the mo? cheers

after reading all the treads i think i can conferm the clutch is screewed!! it pulls fine on hills and only slips in high revs (at the moment anyway...) cheers for all your help peeps...

The RPS street clutch is a more popular choice and cheaper

a stock clutch wont handle a boost increase! as mentioned RPS are the clutch of choice. speak to Smithy :)
