"ICQ Problem" IT Question (forum related)

Hi guys,(& girly) question: a friend of mine has tried to sign up on the forum and is having probs with the ICQ number it seems to be stopping him going any further (do not know full details) as it was age`s ago I last did this I am not sure what to tell him to do, can he leave it blank and carry on? or what? also is it a messenger number?

    No need to fill in ICQ number if he doesn't want to.

     

    I think messanger number refers to either his AOL instant messanger or MSN ID.

     

    I have tried to get several Zed owners on here but with no luck !
