well guys i got up early yesterday and started stripping the car took me alday cus of the damed screw oh well i tried,

 

and best bit it all works with no problems

Nice one bud , i gather it was the screw hidden between the pipes , a right PITA to get to :headvswal

oh the nightmares those two words bring to me :D glad you got it sorted. How many screws left over when it was finished? think I had 8

no screws left over, i cheated with that hidden screw in the end i found that if you are gentle you can bend the pipes out of the way and remove the old core, then with a bit of a riggle you can get the new one in with out any probs then its just a case off gentle bending the pipes back, a quick bit of liquid gasket on the pipes and screw them back in and hay presto no leaks.

 

going to be fitting a paddle clutch in a few weeks so when i have the engine out im going to replace the pipes and ditch that bloody screw
