LOL....... they were rusty when they were new....

They were prone to spontainious combustion though. Every body had one of these in the 70's and most of em went up in flames. You just got smoke coming through the air vents and that was it, Flames.

Pity it,s not something worth bidding for like a mint zed :hyper: :hyper:

I'm pretty sure this fuzzy image is of an Avenger. I frame grabbed it off an old film of the 1972 Preston Guild parades. I was given this film recently and it even has footage of my Dad in it who died 32 years ago :cool:

There are several Avenger Tigers at the rwyb days at Santa Pod. Lovely car in their day.

LOL - my parents had a gold coloured Avenger in the 70s. I can still remember the reg: PGW 736L - weird :confused: :D
