Any paint shops in Kent?

Hi all,

Just a quick question...

I had my car painted by 'Leonado' a few years back, and an excellent job he did, but my original rear spoiler is now looking very dodgy, and the red paint has developed some nasty white spots from living outside.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a bodyshop in Kent that could fit the spoiler and blow over the whole car for a decent price?

Shame, Leonado isn't still going otherwise it would be on it's way back to Newcastle!

Thanks

Tim

hi tim, hows things?

will make a couple of calls for you mate & post back later :)

Hi Paul,

Good thanks.

Just got the Zed back from Andy Duff, it's good to have it back, but now I'm looking at various other 'bits' that need sorting and tidying as I want to hang onto the it. At the moment it handles like a pig, so need to get rear tracked, new front tyres and sort paintwork, oh and track down the strong smell of petrol!

Many thanks, for your help.

hi bud,

got a ballpark price of £1500, but would need to see it.

not sure how that compares? i know our main bodyshop we use would prob want around 2-3 times that LOL!

Thanks Paul,

The cars in really good shape, just the blasted spoiler letting it down.

I've got to take the Range Rover to a bodyshop this afternoon to book it in to have the roof resprayed, after some clumsy idiot windscreen fitter cut a gouge out of my roof! So, I'll get them to quote as well.

Anychance you could email me the details of your contact - please? tim@red-zed.com

Would be looking at getting it done in a couple of months time.

Thanks again

Tim

i highly recommend a bodyshop a little further north than kent in essex... it is called mach1 motorsport and they specialise in custom paint jobs etc, they do a top notch job... the last car they did won best of britain at the recent 'donny' show, his profile details lots of magazine cover cars and features and has customers all over europe. unlike several bodyshops who just want to get the job done he has a very accute eye for detail and will ensure perfection and your total satisfaction.

you can contact him on 01371 878472. he may be in the higher bracket of the price range but as you probably well know you get what you pay for with paint jobs and you want them to last. wont do any harm to get a quote :)

i would also recommend that you buy a replica fibreglass spoiler from luke at the z centre, as even with the most expensive paint job you can expect to see your factory rubber/foam spoiler ruined again throughout the winter!
