As title, do we have a keen amateur/semi-professional photographer within the Midlands area, that would like to do some photographic work with some members? :D

If so, please contact me via PM or my e-mail address URGENTLY!!!! ("anubis4120@msn.com")

Thank you

Whats it for mate?

My daughter did AS levl photograhpy and may be interested.

All depends on where and when.

Darrell

I know a pro photographer (but he does charge £500 a day)

Also my next door neigbour is a semi pro/pro

I thought Leigh was going to be doing it?

I know a few but they're all £350-£500+.

Might manage to get a discount though?

I've done a bit for magazines - but I don't have a decent camera at the moment.

Sadly, due to the nice people at the hospital wanting to play knifey-knifey with me again, I'm having to drop out :( Sorry guys :(

That's a shame mate, would have great to see you again.

Hope you'll be feeling better and be back on your feet soon

Nick

My girlfriends mum and partner are pro-photographers. What exactly are you after and when, I could get her to enquire.

Thanks Leigh, I didn't want to plaster it up bud (without your say-so), as it's your business and not my place to say ;)

Hi Darrell, take a look at my sig, as all the details are there. If you wana talk, as above, PM or e-mail me and we can discuss it :D

As for the use of a professional photographer, I think I can safely say it'll price this whole event out of the equation altogether. It's been a real up-hill struggle just trying to get people even remotely interested, what with some dropping out and others not even responding to my PM's at all.

Maybe if I'd been one of the 'in crowd' then there would of been no-end of names down, but as I'm not! It's a pity that none of the established 'show' cars are attending, and we've had no backing from any of the committee (except for the original thread being 'Stickied' in the first place, thank you Steve). But hey, it's your club, and this could still have attention from the press yet, that would of given extra coverage for the clubs profile.

Anyway, that's enough from my soapbox :nono:

Ok I understand what its for now. Don't think she would be suitable as she dosen't have cameras etc. Thought it might be to perhaps help on the shoot or something.

Only thing I can suggest is that the event goes ahead and people use there own cameras. I could come along and take some with the works camera 8meg kodak but I am no photographer. I thought someone had asked if they could come along with there gear anyway and take some photos in the original thread or am I mistaken?

Perhaps you could ask wozzer if someone from the candy run would be willing to come along.

Good luck with it anyway.

Thanks Darrell, I appreciate all of your input.

To be honest I'm not at all keen on the idea of members taking their own photo's, as that wasn't the idea, and I can see it being VERY messy on the day.

I'd rather keep this to someone who knows what they are doing, as in not only the photography, but also lighting and positioning of the cars, and most importantly how to use Stacy to the best advantage (no smutty comments please  )

As there is just over four weeks to go to the date, if I can't sort anything by this coming weekend, then I'll postpone it for now until we can sort something.
