as above really is it worth converting my na auto swb to tt manwell or sell up an start again its a good clean car no rust or dents etc. but its time to change sick of na an auto lol. im a mechanic but it seems quite a big job but i dont really wanna sell the old girl lol i dont no what to do :confused:

Do it, If you are a mechanic it it wont take long.

 

Just buy a cheap manual tt from ebay and strip it. You will even make money from other parts. This might even pay to get the engine rebuilt. :cool:

Buy a manwell TT with a shity body and interior and use the engine and box.

Sell yours and buy a manual tt, it is easier, cheaper and quicker!

Swings and Rounabouts Tom. You can find TT's very cheap, but finding a decent cheap SWB TT Manual its not so easy, and yours is in lovely condition.

 

It could be done in a weekend, but realisitly your looking at a week or 2 every evening/weekend when you have all parts to hand.

ahhh, but big difference between a Revvy Nissan V8 and a Big ole American V8 ;) Nissan seriously considered using the V8 in the Z32 and would of done it if was'nt down to costs!

I was quoted £2000 just for the labour on a TT conversion.

 

Doesn't sound like a quick job.

I dont know which way you should go as yours is nice... but... nothing like a Manwell TT ;)

i really wanna put a new(er) engine in aswell really my torque is very low :( thanks for all the input guys i really do appreciate it i no id miss the zed really badly if i sold it for something else or even another zed but i just had enough of being beaten by everything on an off the road lol!!!
