yes andy the de-cat was soaked in it and the other one had nothing?????,still going to do a compression test but i still think its the rear turbo seal :smash: ,wonder if thats a record on here,put re-con tubs on and thy dont last 1 second,looks like midland turbos will be getting a wake up call tuesday morn,will try and be nice at first but if i get no joy im going to throw one big paddy lol,and they better pay up to hav it taken out and re-fitted,just hope its done before silverstone,cheers garry

when i was at ztech we had 6-8 faulty turbos on the trot. Excuse was bad batch of bearings. Yeh thats great so when we have to pull the engine amongst other things its ok! And i dont think customers see the funny side!

if the turbo is at fault gaz, unfortunatly the fitter has to take the hit on the labour! they dont compensate labour just replace the faulty unit :mac1:

 

it makes me mad, that they can supply a turbo unit thats faulty and dont compensate

hi bud,i sure will,spoke to greg today and he no,s people hav had probs with midland turbos,the shit thing is they dont even reimburse u to hav the lump out again,all i no is they will ask to send the turbo bak then look at it and blame the mechanic for not doing it properly :smash: ,and i no thats not the case,so looks like he will be out of pocket and so will i :cry: ,and i wont hav the zed 4 god no,s how long.going to give them hell in the morning,but one thing 4 sure i will be at silverstone SMOKE OR NO SMOKE IN MY ZED :D

cheers alex,was i glad wen i finished the compression test,can get that tub sorted anytime,just a minor step bak as i see it now,wen u saw me at the halfway house i was still gutted,but soon cheered up wen we got to the dick-turpin,spoke to those dicks at shitland turbos this morn and why did i bother :smash: ,greg said it all on the phone yesterday,wish i wood hav known about them earlier,the thing is wen i get the tub bak will it happen again??????????????,i tell u what if it does,will be going to nottingham and stuffing it up someone,s ARSE,I KID U NOT MIDLAND (SHITLAND) TURBOS.
