NZR Digital TV

Hi,

Just wondered if anyone knew anything about this?

I wouldn't mind getting the free channels for digital TV (through a normal ariel) if there are any left?

I presume I would need a box to do this, how would I go about doing this without prescribing to any monthly fee?

Cheers,

Mark

Try currys or dixons, I think they sell a PACE box or equivalent which will allow your aerial to pick up the free to airs - check out the pace web site for these sort of decoders.

I wouldnt bother. The quailty of the picture is terrible. We have it here at work and my friend has it. The image is very blocky. Anologue is far far better picutre quality

Hi Srrae,

I am hoping as I live in London the picture quality would be better, are there anyways of accessing more channels without paying a monthly prescription?

Mark

You may get better quality, but I have a direct view of winter hill, which is only 10 miles away and is the TV mast for the whole of the Granada area. But this may be why the analogue picture is so perferct.

The only digital TV you can get extra channels on is Cable and sky.

no possible way to get the extra channels from itv digital, they simply stopped transmitting anything other than the free channels, BBC et al. believe me, I know.
