Bah, she was going to buy my heater matrix too!

The only thing that stops me jumping out and saying - yeah i'd love to help out and get us all together every now and again is knowing the trouble Gaz had trying to organise meets.

 

Half the time people were not interested or didn’t pitch up or reply to threads and showed very little interest in the South Central. I know we all have our own lives to live and the world doesn’t revolve around the 300zx forum or our cars as we also have family and work commitments to consider.

 

Lets face it as per Eileen’s previous post asking who we have in South Central – approx 23 (off the top of my head) replied saying they were in the South Central group or prepared to travel…. In the past year and the meets I’ve attended… most I’d say was 6 or 7 cars (Hatchgate) and they were not all SC people - right or wrong??!!

 

If I knew we had an area where people were proper interested in having and attending meets – I’d be more than happy to try and help!

 

I know we are all not rich fookers who can afford pub meals/petrol/drinks etc etc etc all the time… but we can all make an effort once in a while can we not???

Understand exactly what you're saying Athene.

Bear in mind though, when I was covering NE REO, we were getting around 8-10 at each meet, when we have over 50 members with zeds in our region.

ATM, that 8-10 is probably down to 6-8.

So you're not alone there. Obviously, you would expect the figures to rise as the summer months are now here.

We have the same problem over here in the South West.

Thing is you are never going to pick a date/time/place that is convenient for everybody so you are not going to get the full amount of people from your area turn up unfortunately.

We always have a good time though and Im sure you lot will too.

Don't worry mate, she got a week ban, so she should be back on tonight / tomorrow, and we still want the heater matrix. It will be muggins here who pays for it anyway, but as a registered user, I don't have PM.

NW is just as bad, sometimes I only get 2 and thats including me. Just gotta get on with it and organise the next one.
