Those of you with bigger front brakes will know that the spare wheel is only of use if you get a puncture/bend a rim in the rear tyres. So.......did you keep the spare tyre to cover for the rear tyres only, or did you ditch it, save a bunch of kgs/ make room for the sub, and pray you never have a puncture? In my experience punctures tend to be slow punctures anyway. What did you do?

Ive still kept mine although as you say - its no use on the fronts. Always wondered about getting a spacer so itd clear those APs.

me too. how's the install going marky was at crewe on saturday and there's a 306 with a 15'' flat screen but it takes up most of the rear of the car im sure a good installer like bob will show you the way forward in keeping your spare

Coogs,

I kept mine on the basis that I could try putting a rear wheel onto the front and then put the spare on the rear - dunno if it'd work though !

By the way, saw your car this morning & love the wheels !!!

Dave,

looks like we use the same logic - lol

I don't get punctures anyway, I just demolish the complete rim instead :-(
