took my car to a garage and he says it sounds like a one or 2 hydrolic tappets is cauing the noise

 

are they easy to fix and is it likely to be that as im gettin the rattling noise at all revs and gets worse higher the revs

plenum off front end apart and remove valves etc the change the little blighter's then refit all the stuff you took off. About a days good work !

do u know a place that will sell them, dont know how many i need 1 or 2, also would a oil drain and new oil be worth a go before the tappets get changed?

i know you can get a full set from ipp, not sure about getting them seperately though???? if you find someine let me know an all, coz a couple of mine will need doing soon.

Have you tried changing the Oil?

I am an ex mechanic at the Moment so i don't need to Lol :cool: Just be carefull when using some garages as they don't know these cars very well :rolleyes:
