its been resprayed, the purple colour wasnt an option until the 95+ iirc...

thus bringing the question, why has a 40k miles car warranted a repaint?

oh and thats the series 2 velour interior, i quite like it though is doesnt look nice in photographs :)

thats why , Z32 prices are so low , cos you lot are tight :)) its worth 4k of anybodys money i think, and until people start paying the true value of the car the z32 will always be the poor cousin of the z world ..........come on start asking more for them drive theprice back to where it should be ,,...let them become enthusiasts cars again not chavs and pimple faced squeeky voiced petulent tearaway dilinqents trafic light dragsters.......we are our own worst enemy us zed owners.....always want too much of a bargain and it effects the residual value of our cars .............

What you have said above is very true! But you are not going to stop people trying to get a bargain no matter what car they are looking to buy! Thats just always the way its going to be and always has been. I do not see anything wrong with getting a bargain if you know what you are doing and know these cars inside out! I paid just a touch over a Grand for mine nearly 3 years ago (i am no chav) and actually saved it from the scrap Yard as thats where the car was going originally if no one bought it! It had no MOT or tax, Slight rear end Damage and a Badly maintained Engine! I have in total spent less that £1200 on my car in parts!! and most of them were aftermarket or upgrade parts that were not actually required! My car is now worth as much as a most Zed's on here due to the work i have put into it! and Obviously being from a Mechanic previously i have not spent a great deal of money on it at all! There are others on here too that have done the same! (you know who you are !! Lol) Even if so called chav's (Not all are!)do buy these cars for next to nothing! it will not be long before either they write them off or just cannot afford to run them when parts start to pack up as they will find out these are not cheap cars to run or own. Plus there is the Insurance cost too! This has happened with most High powered sports cars (pre 1990's) and also happened with the Z31's (280zx & 300zx)and Early Pre 80's skylines (240K)

Just a point i would like to make here is no matter what car you want to buy, would you rather pay 5 or 6k for a car just to protect its heritage or another car thats exactly the same but with maybe a bit of work (Depending on cost of course)that may need carrying out to bring back to A1 condition for say £1500? I wonder which one you would go for If you know youre stuff?? I have seen people in past owners clubs buy old Shells for next to nothing and bring them back to A1 condition Cars :) Eventually the 350z will be replaced in a few years and then the Prices of our cars will tumble even more! Thats just the way it is.. :)

very true what you say .........and yes it is unfortunatley the way of the world ....i am entitled to my opinion as you are yours .they differ in some ways and agree in others

that also is the way of the world. good you saved a zed from the scrap yard.. too many end up there ...too many get broken up and too many get trashed ...at least this club as other zed clubs have a common interest , to keep these cars on the road and enjoy them ...........but in answer to your question if it meant keeping the heritage of the car in tact and residual values up to keep "pondlife" from being able to buy them and wrecking them and i had the available money then i would opt for the dearer one and also buy the cheaper car to renovate ...........
