From what I've heard, superchips are not good. I would replace it with something that has a better track record.

Superchips are widely renownd for having a bad reputation..and in fact with the 300zx chip all it is is a stock chip with the speed limited removed...thats it !! yours for around £350

Speak to John Dixon, AndyP, DTA, SWZ Performance for a Proper chip.

^ wot he said. superchips are probably great for european cars, but for Jap tuners, you need something a LOT more specialised.

well i just dont know wat to think...... i have had so many reprts on this chip that i,m confused. i have been told by some of the traders on here that the superchip will run the car on a rich setup hence the black sooty exhaust outlets.

and some of you say that the chip will run the car lean on high boost

as yet i have not heard any signs of detonation.

just i dont want to throw the chip away when ther car is running great??????????

Well if you're happy with it then don't change it. However, if you try an alternative you may see a marked improvement in performance.

thanks for the reply andy. ive already seen a huge increase in performance when i turned the boost up yesterday.
