Hi all,

 

I've been offered the change to buy an imported 300zx for just £2,000. I have never owned one (always had a 200sx). What should I be looking out for as I do realise this is very cheap.

Any advise would be of helpful.

have u checked out the z buying guide in the tech stuff section? 2k seems very cheap unless it is a major heap of shite!

whos offering? is that registered etc... or a car just coming in? If its just coming in right from japan then yeah 2k sounds about right, but for one on the roads it must be a shed. Id imagine something like that would have turbos on the way out or something.

Oh yeah and you should be looking out for smoke (blue mainly), and vibrations at speed. Either one of these is gonna make ur life a misery

A £2K 300ZX Z32 is going to cost you a lot of further expense unless you're very lucky.

It will either be knackered mechanically or bodily, or both/and/or stolen!

as long as you have another 5-10k to spend on upgrading it,then i'm sure you'll love it?

be prepared to turn heads on every road ya go down have young lads asking what is it and driving at mach 1.

only probs you will have: is what the fuck do you buy when ya sell it,what is better than a zed???
