they are abit steep, but thats probably coz they are semi racing tyre, and really designed for the track. they're a pretty soft compund, so they aint gonna last long if you go smoking them up around town.

Semi slicks are awesome tyres, especially if you've got too much power and having problems getting it too the ground. I'm not sure I'd bother putting them on a Zed 'tyre eater' though! I didn't realise you could get them wide enough? They are incredible on my rex (I've got the other ones, not the toyos). The difference on track is amazing. They've never over heated and gone 'soggy' (sure there's a proper word for it!). You can see after a session how distorted they've got by how far up the side wall the wear is and its tiny. I wouldn't like to be in a zed in the rain in them though. I never take the rex out in rain, I did an airfield session and it was soaking wet last year. The car was literally all over the place, sideways , backwards, the lot! The heavier Zed would be dangerous.

neither would I unless..........

I fitted race logic traction control to the Z last year and with my Toyo's no one passed me at the ring when it started raining. What would have been scary as hell actually turned into a big ego boost for me :)

Not the same story when it was dry though :wack:
