up there for a technical meeting & we got shown around the place! thought it would be a bit dull but was great actually!

 

they have a massive retail site with loads of SLR's, saw a stunning one in blue!! usually only ever see silver :rolleyes:

 

they have the worlds first production car (made by Daimler Benz) from 1900 or summfink! worth £3million+ :shock:

 

had a 3D cinema which was quite good! a few Gullwing SL's etc.

 

then got a tour around Brooklands Motoring & Aviation museum, was good. had a 26L engined car which was a record holder at the old Brooklands track! the old Bluebird & loads more!

Concord was there & the replica that used to be outside Heathrow is now there!!

 

they also had a (small!) off road circuit that we went round, a small track & slalom circuit & a oval skid pan!! :dance: that was fun!! :dance:

 

then got taken out for dinner & all the drink we could consume!! :duffer:

sadly the meeting was the following day :wack: :wack: :wack:

well, I thought it was interesting LOL! :p

we get those kinda days quite a bit... Jaguar, Ford, DAF etc

yesterday I was at the CV Show in Birmingham (NEC) walked around... looked important, got freebies drank lager, ate lunch blah blah... gets a bit much sometimes... lol
