i dont know so much about them being able to actually afford the car...

 

im 24 work full time and struggle sometimes to do the mods and things i'd like to do to the car... i'm sure 80% of the younger members have the likes of mommy and daddy.... most of them still probs live at home, dont pay rent or mortgages... etc

 

its not like the old days where when you were 18 - you were out of the house, fending for yourself.... the youngsters these days have mommy and daddy to help! (most of the time anyway) (and im talking the 18 - 24/25 yeard olds)

 

here in london, you can spot the mommy and daddy kids, they all drive e46 3-series bmw coupes in their very early 20s.

 

the 300zx today is a cheap (to buy not maintain ofcourse), goodlooking, fast and rare car; i think that might be the appeal to a lot of people.

i got my licence when i was 16...

 

IMO i think Zeds are more 'a younger lads cars' ... (yes i said lads)

 

older men need to look the part in flash jaguars, land rovers etc... not fast sporty energetic cars! :)

also, so what if someone in his or her 20s lives with their folks? i used to live out and rent near canary wharf, but i want to climb the property ladder some time soon and in order to save up i moved back to my folk's place a year ago, i'm 23 now and got the zed at 21 as a graduation present to myself!
