imagine the twat down the road owning a gun! we all know one but at least over here he cant get a gun at the mall !

It is a bit insane when you walk into a supermarket and see the gun section, next to toy section :wack:

I hate people jumping on the guns are bad bandwaggon.

If it wasnt a gun it would have been a sword, if it wasn't a sword it would have been an axe, if it wasn't an axe it would have been a hammer and so on.

Admitedly the death toll would most likely be a lot lower than this using a hand held hitting tool but if someone decides they are gonna go kill a load of people for no real reason thats what he will do regardless of what he uses to do it with.

Fooking sad all the same though, poor kids

they say that " guns dont kill people , people kill people " but im sure the gun helps i think its the feeling of power you get when you hold something like that in your hand i was a member of a gun club a few years ago and it does do something to ya thats why i gave it up still a shame tho and the scary thing is its happening more and more and its getting closer to home

30 odd kids dead and you think people are jumping on the guns are bad bandwagon for no reason :( thats not what the starter thread was about mate,it was about how easy they are to obtain

Its the American way. You must be allowed to protect yourself? If the gunlaw was a bit more strict then they wouldn't need so much protection. There aint nothing wrong with guns. Its the people that use them. America is full of nutters and logically it should be the hardest place to obtain a gun? :smash:

Mate did you read what I wrote???

It makes no diference at all if he could get his hands on a gun or not, he still would have gone out and killed people cos he's a nut job!

yea read it 3 times incase i read it wrong  theres a diffrence between a bread knife and a semi automatic in the predicted survial rate bud

I cant agree with you Nick on the sword and hammer theory as thats physical contact and the cowards that use guns probably wouldn't want any of that. The world is full of nutters and we have our share but as I said before America is full of them.

fookin ell, axes were designed to cut wood, knives were designed to cut food, guns were designed to kill people, how someone can say guns aint a bad thing is beyond me

lets not turn this into a pro/anti guns guns thread.

take a few seconds and remember the needless

loss of life thats occured today :(

just a reminder of the original starter

im not saying im anti gun, we need them to defend ourselves from other people who have guns, but saying that they are good and safe is not right

if the killer had went into the school with a knife or sword or axe, he wouldnt have been able to kill as many before being overpowered, putting a gun in his hand gave him the advantage of killing from a safe distance to himself

i really feel for the loss of life, its colombine all over again

Got to agree with you there mate. It aint got nothing to do with polotics or terrorism. This is just a sad case of another nutter with voices in he's head and another group of families having to live the rest of their lives with that grief. WAR is not the same whatever label you give it THIS IS MURDER.

Ah that's bloody aweful, I think we are so lucky that guns are slightly harder to get hold of over here.

Thought's are with those who have lost loved one's today.
