No mate I cut great big holes in it for a gauge pod and didn't realise I couldn't get my air con ducting back on when fitting it.

Anyway just got one off Slick Pete and its in better condition than my old one, so happy days again.

So after my cock up with the gauge pod I got a new dash off Pete (thanks mate) and decided to cover all my panals with a nice cream suede I have gone and bought.

So I take the old velour off one panel and spray some glue on it and stick the new sueded on, it looks real nice, a pukka job you would say. Happy days so I get stuck into the rest, I did the dial cover and fitted that and wow it looks great, that was yesterday but today as I was putting one of the last pieces on I oticed that the dial cover had bubbled in the heat and the glue had gone soft.

Its got to come off and be reglued :headvswal oh well we live and learn.

I have some carpet spray glue, strong enough I thought and easy to apply.

I think propper bostik contact adhesive will be the go next time.

yea its got to be "contact" stuff, spray 2 sides and leave a couple of mins to evaporate the solvents and sticko we go :) far better than all that fishy sponk they sell as glue

ps just rememberd it called "evostick contact"

Thats it but if I spray the suede I have the glue soaks through and ruins it, so I might have to get an iron on backing or something.

no mate,it only needs a light dusting on 2 surfaces to stick like fvk,try it on a scrap piece first and see :)
