Did someone say free tickets ;)

Did you go all out and get grandstand tickets, not sure if i would need them as there seems allot on so guess i wouldn't spend much time on the stand.

not sure if to camp yet, camping is ewwwwie...... might get bite by a bug lol.

Great event, worth the money just for all the chance to get up close and personal  with so many stunning, historic cars and their owners/drivers etc. Been the last couple of years, can't make this year  brilliant day/3 days out, I've never bothered with the grandstand ticket, the standard entry is expensive enough and as you say there's loads to see - you won't be sitting for too long (except to get in and out of the car-park!!)

One word of warning, there isn't much shelter, so if it's sunny take your sun-block but if it's raining, find the bar!!!!

Enjoy

went about 3 years ago, great weekend!! had free tickets given to me by one of my suppliers!! :)

Cool cheapo tickets it is then.

Did you camp or stay in hotel?

The old Janspeed 240Z now used in Hillclimbs and now owned by Ben Stapley is going to be there on the Janspeed Stand and also going to be driven up the hill

i stayed in a hotel in brighton made a holiday of it

hmmmm i might think about going this year. sounds like a good day/weekend out. where can you get tickets from?

It's addmission by advance ticket only, you cannot buy on the gate!!! check out Sunday will cost you £47 per person - entry only!! (£160 for a three day ticket) lot of dosh, but you won't get the chance to see so many stunning cars (most F.1 teams attend, with either drivers or testers), talk to drivers, owners and mechanics anywhere else, it is pretty unique!! Also a "supercar paddock" for the Lambo's, Astons, Nobles etc (the Veyron was there last year).

Go on, you know it makes sense.............

I still do! And will be attending for certain!

I haven't got the space to offer accomodation, but I may be of use for advice on hotels, b&b's and other local knowledge.

Dave

thinking about going again myself just cost of staying over

go for a group discount on room rates...call a few hotels in Chichester Worthing Brighton etc (if you want the nightlife then def Brighton)...say you want a discount room rate for a group booking (e.g. 4 or 5 rooms req) then split/share the saving to all those going once you've cut a deal...basically with enough off you could get your tickets for free that way :D
