85mph, middle lane on an empty pitch black motorway then suddently a large black shape in front of me, BANG, and a scraping sound

 

Slowed down and got off at the next junction (which just happened to be my home junction), put my foot down and a bad scraping sound from under the car.

 

Went to check it out and guess what, dead badger has destroyed my front bumper, just hope it hasn't killed the rad or oil coolers :(

 

 

Too late and dark to see till the morning but last thing i needed is the front bumper written off :( Cock :(

eek, sorry to hear that mate. what was the scraping sound, was it the bumper hanging down? if the rad or oil coolers' damaged then it isnt a major expense to fix.

Shit m8 sorry to hear that, I recently had a close call with a fox. Fortunately I had just upgraded my brakes as I wasnt going slowly at the time and my front bumper is a one-off so would have been seriously pissed if I`d hit it. I have now got some HID`s to fit sometime to try and avoid any similar brown trouser moments.

HID's are def the way to go mate. I have deer, foxes and rabbits to worry about on dark windy narrow road's scares the hell out of me sometimes :cry:

thats just unlucky mate. hope its not gonna cost too much to fix.

Anyway good excuse to get the 99 spec front bumper fitted up and if the intercooler's fooked i'll get that front mounted one off ebay :)
