Hello, Just landed myself a set of spl upper arms as the oem ones were rubbish with quite abit of play of play in them, I'm looking to fit these my self along with the new tension rods I have. I,m pretty good with the spanners, but would like to know how difficult it will be for me to fit the new arms?? I know i will need an alignment afterwards but its the initial fitting i'm interested in. If someone could shed some light on the matter i would be most greatful.

Cheers

I did both the front and rear on mine and its not a difficult job but you have to remove alot to get to where you want to be. Good time to change shocks and springs if you need any ;)

Just make sure you line up the new stuff with the old as close as you can get it and you should be ok. Watch for unusual tyre wear or handling problems but if its ok now then it should be ok afterwards. I had to get mine realigned as it was eating rear tyres before I changed the arms, rods, shocks and springs.

Yeah i thin i should be ok when i do it, like i said in another thread the shocks and springs need doing so i guess it will be a good idea to do the whole lot in one sitting.Only thing that is a concern is the clearnance i have from the tyre to the arch, the eibachs lower the car but about 20mm i think, i have about 30 mm ish clearance as i have 19 inch rims, do you think thid will be a problem???
