As it say's We are having a dyno day for you guys if we can get 20 cars we will do each run for £20 including a print out !

 

We also require a willing subject that we can fit a few upgrades on and do a run before and after to show the power gains.

 

The day will be taking place on the 5th MAY at 10am

There will be a burger van on site and after we want to take a spin to the sea front and take some photo's

 

Let us know if your interested. If anyone wants to let us fit a few parts to there car it has to be standard

Well done all. Was a good (and long) day. Some great dyno runs, and congrats to Jimmer for the highest run of the day.

There was about 35 cars. Unfortunatly only about 10-12 of which were Zed's.

 

Paul has the camera with all the pics I took, so hopefully he will post them up.

Has anyone got a list of results? be great to see what the competition is like give me an idea of what to aim for.

We got there a little late, I saw a couple of runs after a huge break. Got chatting to the guy with the C reg AE86 corolla! Top chap and he's only from weston!

 

Anyway, was a nice day all in all. After we left we went to Burnham beach to let the kids and dogs run round for a few hours :D:D

Cheers greg, the torque is fine was just expecting more BHP, so gona look into pauls theory about possible boost leak...will keep you all posted about it :)

A great day and a friendly bunch, thanks to Paul for organizing it all.

A bit disappointed with my run as my power dropped off at 5400rpm so only managed 362bhp but did have 379lbf-ft! I was hoping for about 40 more ponies but am pleased with the torque figure. Will post some pics up tomorrow

I wouldn't worry to much about the BHP figures, that machine came up with some naff figures at times !!

 

And Lisa what you worried about, yours must be more than fast enough for you, tyres screeching in one ear you in the other... and you know it goes like f**k :tongue:

 

And something came over Redzeds Z (never missed a beat before!) After seeing what ever they was doing to Na kins Z !

My first run was not what i expected 292 and 2981bf-ft

 

Reason the temp sender decided to work loose first time ever :rolleyes:

 

Then had to wait til the very end after tons of popras and got a better figure

345.5 bhp and 3651bf-ft torque...wanted 350+ so not to bad.

 

When the car came off the r/road smoking like a bitch out the right bank........

Here we go i thought nice sunny day talking to the guys and then bang... into a lot of £££ to fix the car. But after a quick run up the m5 and nothing at all :dance: left the car ticking over for over 10 mins on the drive and a quick few blips on the throttle and still nothing :dance: :dance: thank feck for that so hopefully all ok.

 

I think red zed faired a little worse but fingers crossed may sort it self out like mine.

 

once again a very big thanks to Paul@swz for sorting the dyno day and letting all the z members use his car like an anchor :tongue:

hmmmm there was far to many supras! LOL

 

redzed as far as im aware had either an issue with the MAF or PTU more than likely PTU as it was running lumpy, but seemed ok back out on the road?

hope he got home ok though!

The Redzed has a suspected Turbo seal going, he was debating all day whether to go on or not.

Finally decided to, got it on the rolling road and started acting strange, missing above 2500rpm, they took it off and the door locked the tester in the car and couldnt open the door from either inside or outside finally he climbed out the passenger side,

Rich then took it for a drive... came back and was running fine and door unlocked itself strangly enough..

 

But the Rich is a hypnotist so prehaps he linked in with the car not to put it through the wars, like they put yours through mate (have the evidence to prove it on video) just trying to work out how to put in on from a DVD
