N/A camshaft question

Im looking at the old N/A rebuild, and what cams to put in it.

I have been offered Tomei cams, 264intake with 272 exhaust, or 270 intake and exhaust.

Im unsure what effect this will have, and as im not looking at building a full blown racer, (If I was i'd have bought a SWB slicktop and TT'd it!), just something a tad quicker. I wondered if anyone had researched it and had ant info??

Also, I'd rather not have the tickover excessively lumpy while ticking over.

 

Decided on the pistons, as I was going to fit some big 90mm, 12:1 compression ratio beast's, but have decided to drop the compression ratio down to 11:1.

 

Any further info anyone has, would be greatley appreciated, or any good links??
