IAA quick question

Hi all,

I know i could search this answer but am feeling lazy :) and it's just to confirm what i'm thinking.

Car recently running bit lumpy and rough. No vac leaks.Thought it was time to clean throttle bodies. Did so last week and problem solved. :)

However - yesterday (bout 4 days after cleaning) tickover uneven again also struggling for power unless throttle floored.

Sprayed carb cleaner into T/B's again and now running smooth again but with high tickover, about 1000rpm.

Also with datascan connected adjust base timing button is not reducing idle speed.

Am guessing that all the crap from T/B's is now in iaa valve. (didn't clean it 1st time  ).

Does this sound right

Will teach me to be a lazy git :slap:

Cheers

Nick

by the way is it easy to take off and dissassemble

Great, and i'm pretty clumsy as well, always dropping screws and bolts in engine bay. My best friend is my magnetic pick up tool.

Definately gonna be fun
