I tell you my blood is boiling, they have posted 2 cards and not even bothered to knock the door.

 

I am on the phone to them now and if i get to speak to someone, they are gonna get it man I can tell you :rant: :rant:

22 ****in minutes waiting on the phone and then cut off cos they have all gone home

i've had the same but with business post first day he went to deliver i was out and was just coming home to see him pulling off from my house he never left a card , 2nd day pulled up outside the house sat there 5 mins on the phone then pulled off,never even came down the path so i called the depot laid into a bloke who said i'll get him back to you later, the driver then said when he turned up i was on the phone to my girl friend and realised after i had pulled off i had not delivered the parcel, but could not be bothered to turn round and come back

There was a report a while ago that said the drivers were told not to deliver parcels cos it takes too much time.

 

How ****ing shit is that

i generally always ask people to send packages via royal mail, reliable, frequent and iv never had a problem with them :)

The thing is, and I know it was last thing, but we need the parcel for tomorrow for a wedding and now we can't get it.

if you have time you can nip down to your local depot and pick it up tomorrow morning if you wanted.

 

i do find it hard to believe that they would card you and not knock on the door because as much as you think there out to screw you the last thing the drivers actually want is to take the parcel back to the depot!! 1 - because they get paid for delivering each parcel and 2 - they will have it to deliver again another day on top of that days parcels as well.

 

if you really really pissed off go down now, the depot will still be open as its open 24 hours a day, just explain you need it for a wedding.

Lately Postal Service has been Total Crap.... Same thing here too.. Got card thru door ( i was in NO knock) so caught postman other side of street and asked for parcel... He didn't even F##kin have it.. said to go down to sorting office as it was there..So goes down and tosser behind the glass said you have to come back in 24 hours.So i explained what postman had just said to which he looked surprised , went round the corner, came 1 min later with parcel and apologised.... This is ONE of the Many PI$$ poor service i get from the Shite Royal Mail...... Total shite IMHO.............. :headvswal

And another thing why don't they sort out the times for picking up parcels.... Instead of the times when your at fookin work... ie maybe 5-9 at night as opposed to 7 til 12 during the DAY when most people are at work..hence the reason they were not in in the first place........ :rant:

it is hard doing home deliveries and trust me as a company we dont like doing them as it costs twice as much to do as say to a business.

What i was referring to was collecting from the sorting office when a parcel has been missed..........

I think every parcel I have had delivered by Parcel Force has had some kind of problem. I have made 2 written complaints and still get fobbed off or totally ignored.

I never ever use them anymore. Any company but them if I need to send a parcel!

You can say that again...........sorry to hear your frustrations but this is just par for the course with todays UK business attitudes. Good service and customer relations is a long distant memory and it seems to be the norm these days..........if I had this lax attitude and piss poor performance in the job I do though, my arse would be well and truly reamed and my P45 inserted at the same time!!!! I have just had a morning of trying to get an electricity bill sorted with N Power, they are a useless bunch of ****wits there too.............I did give the guy a good peice of my mind though, but it got me knowwhere......INCOMPETENCE RULES AND **** IT......YOU ARE GONNA HAVE TO PUT UP WITH IT......seems to be the rule of thumb. I am in the same boat as you luckily and will be leaving this mess for a better life down under at the end of the year..............can't fookin wait I tell thea! It's the poor *******s that are left behind that I feel sorry for. Mustn't grrrrumble.... :hyper:

I did go down to my local post office to collect my parcel but it wasn't there, and the depot it came from is 25 miles away,

 

I PAID FOR FURKIN DELIVERY

remember the post office/royal mail is different from parcelforce.

 

any huge company can be a little faceless sometimes hey even i get pi55ed of with them!!

 

we have a 98% QofS so we are ovbiously doing something right ;) but i know what you mean with the sorting offices and royal mail are going through alot of changes at the moment so fingers crossed their service will improve as well :)

 

If any of you ever have any problems with parcelforce then please feel free to let me know and i will look into it for you ;)

Only ever had 1 REAL piss take problem with Parcelforce in 6 years of dealing with them, other than that around 98% of them arrive on the due date with the rest usually only a day late, considering i send and receive around 700 parcels a year, am happy with em ;)
